From January 1, 2026, new regulations for Precautionary Allergen Labelling (PAL) will apply in the Netherlands.
We are in a transition period updating our labels after performing a risk analysis together with our ingredient suppliers and our different plants.
As a result, you may notice changes to the allergen warning statements on our packaging from our brands Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, Duyvis, Quaker and Snack a Jacks.
What does this mean for you?
At PepsiCo, you can trust that we handle this with great care.
- If an allergen is not listed, it is not in the product.
- Allergens not mentioned in the “May contain X” statements is no longer present in the product.
